Dan is an instructional leader in a small school district for over 2100 students’ grades prek-12 that is comprised with 75 percent minority and 70 percent low income, He places an emphasis on instructional practices, clear communication, strong vision/mission for student achievement while providing a collaborative team atmosphere. He is a leader in essential 21st Century skills that will enable students to be successful in a global community, providing innovative instruction with the integration of technology.
Dan received his doctorate in educational leadership and is one of the few superintendents that has been able to take a failing school for over four straight years to six straight years as high achieving school. He is a speaker and presenter on school culture, working with minority populations, behavioral strategies, instructional practices and overall school improvement.
